Equine Osteopathy

The majority of Lorre’s work is equine osteopathy. Through manual techniques, the horse as a whole is given restored mobility and function and given the ability for self-healing. By accessing the whole horse, the parietal, visceral and cranio-sacral systems are all considered.

Masterson Method®

The horse is looked at as a whole with this method of bodywork as well. Tuning into the horse and allowing their participation is the key to this form of bodywork. Releasing tension within key junctions of the horse’s body in a relaxed state.

Advanced Applied Anatomy Course

The course is an intensive five days of learning in the classroom and then working with horses to apply the knowledge learned in the classroom. The time with horses is also spent looking at the range of motion of many of the joints, so bodyworkers better understand what full range of motion actually looks like.

Dissection

We host dissections periodically. Dissections are very participatory – small group size allows ample time to observe, touch, and move different tissues and joints. Dissections are a chance to explore, ask each other questions, and seek the answers to those questions as a group. Lorre Mueller leads much of the dissection but participation is encouraged by all attendees.

TMJ Clinic

Learn about the balance of the teeth and the TMJ and how it is related to the rest of the body.  Learn how imbalances in the mouth can affect movement.  Learn about the connection between the teeth and the feet.  Learn about the fascial connections throughout the body.  Learn simple things you can look at in your own horses to see if there are any imbalances.  Look at posture in the horse and be able to see if it is coming from imbalances in the mouth and/or feet.
